For the society, it brings the start of a monthly newsletter. This way, we can reach people who are not on social media or, like myself, who want to use it less in the new year. The set-up will be simple, results of the previous event and the next one(s) announcement.
Less social media is my good intention for the new year. Setting good intentions can seem daunting or pointless. What if you don’t manage to keep it?
However, we can all take small actions that we know will positively impact.
And a lot of small actions? Together they make a massive difference!
For example, how about decluttering and reorganising (part of) your home at the start of the new year?
We are organising an anti-litter market to sell your secondhand items if you are interested in selling them.
Or, if you want to start buying more sustainable secondhand items, this market will be the perfect place to start!
We are doing a lot of small actions this year to make a massive difference in Slough!
