The Slough Fashion Upcyle Competition 2024

Calling all creatives in Slough! Do you have a passion for fashion and sustainability? Show us your skills and transform preloved clothes or used materials into a stunning wearable garment for the Fashion Upcycle Catwalk. The theme this year is ‘Reimagine, Repurpose, Rewear’.

Why Enter?

– Showcase your talent: Join the vibrant Slough Anti-Litter community and get recognition for your unique upcycled designs.
– Win amazing prizes: Two age categories with exciting prizes await the most innovative creations.

Ages 13-19: £100 JD Sports voucher (1st place), £75 TK Maxx voucher (2nd place), £50 Primark voucher (3rd place)
Ages 20+: £100 Tesco voucher (1st place), £75 TK Maxx voucher (2nd place), £50 Primark voucher (3rd place)

– Make a difference: Contribute to a greener fashion industry by promoting sustainable practices.

How to Participate:

1. Read the competition brief for all the details.

2. Let your creativity flow and design your unique garment.

3. Submit photos (of the items before upcycling AND of your finished creation) by Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 23:00/ 11PM.

4. Get ready to strut your stuff on the catwalk on Saturday, September 7th (time to be confirmed).
